Undesirable assignment

Human resources organizations have a difficult job. Not only must they recommend whom to hire and fire, but also designate appropriate remedies for unacceptable or substandard behavior. As with other large organizations, PBase must use discipline in a manner that is fair but effective. A typical practice is to re-assign the problem employee to an environment that will impart in the employee's mind a lesson he or she will not soon forget. Lest you think this cruel, weigh it against being fired without any severance pay. Various unmentionable epithets have been used by employees to describe duty in this office.

"Head" quarters? I was told there would be no innuendo here.

Ian, no Time Lord with any sense would associate himself with such an office: the inside is smaller than the outside.

You can't fool us all,all of the time.I'd recognise a latter day T.A.R.D.I.S.,in all their wonderful guises anyday, but your secret is safe here.

Steve, what about withdrawals at an ATM?
Dan, I concur; the possibility that assets could be wiped out is the reason why backing up is so important.

and indeed there is paperwork to boot... and assets could be wiped out in an instant

So that's what customer service meant by "Go see John." Reminds me of an ATM--people who use it are always making deposits.

Horsegoggles: is that because of its color or the roof that acts as a skylight?
LeeG: If you invite me to the party, I promise to bring a very personal gift and leave it in the bathroom.

My real estate agent has put an offer in on this prime hunk of property, , ,waiting for escrow to close then I will take over and remodel. A 2nd story and bay window overlooking the patio and lap pool. A house warming party will follow, gifts mandatory.
