1st place: Shooting Like Crazy

Its me around the time of the Magyar conquest (895 AD). The only change is that I switched the Hungarian reflex-bow to a digital camera, but I'm still shooting like crazy.

What can I say? You've nailed this photo! It is such a good photo that when you look at the thumbnails this photo just screams Look at me! The DOF is so good it looks 3D.

Brent, firing the remote is the easy part: the trigger was hit by the arrow and the camera released. (Just kidding.) This picture expresses my relation to photography: these riders are amateurs and horseback-archery is just a passion for them. They often miss the targets with their arrows, but they like their passion very much and they shot like crazy. Very similar habit to me with my camera. MCsaba

Can't even imagine how you managed to fire the remote on top of everything else - just an incredible shot - is this you - or what you view yourself as? brent

This is a really striking image (nice bokeh, sharp image), though I wonder whether it would have been more powerful if you had been nocking the arrow when you took the picture?
