it's very sad & awful to let any sick & poor human being in their misery;as most homeless are mentally & physically ill.Solution? As it is a federal&provincial goverment responsabilies;to you all;request them ;[as a must to be done right away];STOP spending taxpayers millions&billions dollars foolishly & TAKE CARE OF OUR HOMELESS INDEFINETELY including hospitalisation, medications, nutritions or good meals, disciplinations;ece. To us all;begin fundraising & ask gently as a minimal donation 1% of their income,THANK YOU.

We did. We went to the local communist head quarters that is charged with helping these people. We gave them a description of the young woman and where she was. We were told they would help her. In reality few people do get help. It was common to hear, in Chinese, "There is no hope, there are too many of us".

What more is there to be said than thank you for your heart and compassion that portrays what the poor and vulnerable mission of Providence strives to achieve in daily lives. Your work is soul and spirit reflection of mankind at its best. Marilyn -Providence Health System

I second Ken's thoughts - when we come accross those who have that 'sence of entitlement' attitude, or when we ourselves fall into that mindset, we need to see images like these, realize our own blessings, and pray for them.

As for Larry & Wendy, yes we CAN do something for those who are ill & homeless, even if it's simply buying them a simple meal, leaving it at their feet before walking away, then saying a prayer....people like this deserve a Blessing.
...those like this shouldn't be ignored.

Stunning image.

John, so many times I have visited your galleries and admired your work. For me this is one of the saddest of images. When I am again teaching in Australia, with kids who are 'bored' and can't be bothered, and believe the world owes them a living, I will direct them to some of your images. It is important to continue this documentation. Exceptional work. KMc
