Jerry, that's an interesting rock and a great capture on your part. Good focus and nice composition too. Obviously, like all sedimentary rocks, those layers were originally laid down horizontally, or nearly so. One has to wonder what caused them to be tilted the way they are now. I'm sure it happened very slowly over a very long period of time.

Jerry, this is a great image and a fabulous rock. Look at all the colors your have captured. I love how the rock goes out to the sea. Nicely done!! The rocks in the foreground really give scale to Saddle Rock.
