"Jumah" means "Friday" and "Baazaar" means "Market" ... so "Jumah Baazaar" means The Shopping Place, arranged on Fridays.

This shot was taken somewhere in Swat Valley, located in Up North. It is an old custom here to set a temporary Weekly Market, usually on a holiday i.e Friday, to sell provisions,etc. These Markets, being the only source of shopping, are very successful ... as buyers come down from nearby villages, scattered on surrounding hills, for their weekly rations.Indeed, a tough life!Is'nt it?
