Nature's Rock Art
by

"Eagle's Nest" near Inverloch, Victoria, Australia

Rock flat, just behind the other pic, but with a fair whack of added saturation and contrast.
Here's how it looks naturally.

(Another old Challenge entry, recycled. But it fits, and will do for the moment.)

Nikon Coolpix 5700
1/1185s f/4.5 at 44.7mm iso100 full exif

other sizes: small medium original auto

Your post processing added considerable interest to this one Mike, nice job! I really like the blend of all those beautiful colors. I also like all the diagonal running lines in your composition. In other words, it's like Denise said... "very cool".

Thanks Denise. This type of frame is dead easy: pick a foreground colour with the eyedropper, make a new layer and Select All in it (Ctrl+A or Cmd+A); then stroke the selection (PS Edit menu) on the inside with the foreground colour (15 pixels in this case). Then change the opacity of that layer (directly in the Layers palette) till it looks right. Flatten (Layer menu) and Save As jpeg. - Mike

Very cool, Mike. I like what you did. The colors are wonderful. I also like the framing on this and your other entry.
