Thanks Dougie - I rarely use the A40 now, I must admit - 10x zoom and IS makes the Oly2100 more versatile, so it's the one I tend to reach for most often. But I could easily have used a tripod here, and I suspect I might have even preferred the A40's colours in this one, so perhaps I should consider it more often.
