Thanks everyone for the generous comments. And yes, those are guns. I'm told they are M-60s but I have no idea.

I have been trying to "get" this shot for some timehttp://www.pbase.com/mbaumser/image/49930089 orhttp://www.pbase.com/mbaumser/image/35519929 but never felt I really captured the motion I wanted. until this one. So the effort really makes the nice remarks that much more appreciated. Again, thanks

If anyone is interested, I had an ND4 and ND8 stacked to get the ss down to 1/5s. I had prefocused on an area and set the A1 for high speed. So I took 5 shots. this is actually the 2nd one and only one that wasn't blurry.

Excellent Marc, the spear gun(?) and the angle of the cabin window both help to convey the movement of the boat.

Your previous camera-pan shot is very good, but this is outstanding. The vapour and the motion-blured water/land texture are amazing. MCsaba
