This appears to be a female, bearing eggs. Not being a marine bio expert, I'm not 100% sure on this - perhaps someone knowledgeable can confirm this or otherwise. Also, does anyone know if the other bubbly mass inside the head area is the brain? See the next photo for a closer view of the head.
