Ferry Across The Mersey - Gerry & The Pacemakers - by gmc

Life goes on day after day
Hearts torn in every way

So ferry 'cross the Mersey
'cause this land's the place I love
and here I'll stay

People they rush everywhere
Each with their own secret care

So ferry 'cross the Mersey
and always take me there
The place I love

People around every corner
They seem to smile and say
We don't care what your name is boy
We'll never turn you away

So I'll continue to say
Here I always will stay

So ferry 'cross the Mersey
'cause this land's the place I love
and here I'll stay
and here I'll stay
Here I'll stay

Hi Shirley, yes this is the 'landing stage' as it was called - the grey blob on the right hand side is the ferry. It was one of those quickly taken shots - as you can just see the sun poking over the horizon, and I guess if I was re-taking it I'd have opened up the right hand side to include more of the river.
cheers Gerard

I love this song and I really like the colours(just for you) in this photo. I was hoping someone would do this song from England. I love how the distance looks and almost wish I could see more of it. I am guessing this is a ferry dock in the foreground?
