One of my goals for 2006 is to make substantial progress in scanning about 10,000 negatives and slides from my 12 years in the Navy shooting film. As my time and efforts will sometimes be dedicated to this project, I will post some of my favorites in my 2006 Photo Journal, even though the images may be from 1983-1995.
For my first scan, this shot is actually one my wife took when she was in Europe during college. (Hence the title, I have no idea where this was. She believes it was Venice, but isn't quite sure. We are 40 now, and can't always remember locations of various slides/photos).
I scanned this, and treated it in Photoshop to look like an illustration.
