First of all I let this picture capture my attention irrationally, then I try to see what detail attracts me in a special way. Here it’s the wet spot on the back of this passer by.
He tries to protect himself from the rain keeping his umbrella as close as it’s possible, neglecting his back, which remain exposed to the rain, maybe it’s because he cannot see his back and he has the illusion that if his face is sheltered he’s totally protected by the rain.
I like this picture. I can nearly smell the rain mixed up with the wet scent of the muddy street.

Ugh! I hate the rain! Great capture. I like the fact that we *can't* see his face - it lets the imagination create his expression.
