I am enjoying my morning coffee in a mug given to me by Jill's sister. Thank you, Jane.
We are tied to a mooring ball in Vero Beach, Florida.
Vero Beach is affecionately known as 'velcro beach' by cruising sailors because once you get here you tend to stick around.
We plan to stay here a few days and take advantage of the laundromat and the free shuttle bus to town.
Yesterday we was the first time we went ashore in four days.
We stayed ashore only long enough to top-off our fuel and water tanks and pay the bill.
This is the first time we had to buy fuel for Shibumi since Nassau, in the
Bahamas, last March.
Today we will spend more time ashore, walking around, exploring the town.
