Wanda 01_18_06.jpg

It has been a while since we did a real Wanda photo. I thought before the fans started to complain we better take some new images.

Todays image was fun for me. I used the fill flash to darken the background and to keep things pretty natural. The fill flash was on a stand to the left of the camera by a window. By adding light to the foreground I darkened the background. Here is a test shot with the flash off; so, the light is just the window light (just resized for the web) http://www.pbase.com/image/55027712 Notice the lighter background, the flatness of the light and the lack of contrast?

For Wanda it was tougher. She needed to stretch and lean back and her back is still a bit stiff from last months accident.

Here is another photo from today http://www.pbase.com/slowpokebill/image/55024567

Canon EOS 20D ,Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM
1/30s f/3.5 at 130.0mm iso400 with Flash full exif

John,
The basic pose, including the hair in the mouth, was pure Wanda. The eyes closed was my idea and the location in the house and the lighting.

Very sensual! Love your work.

I like this one...whose idea was the play on the hair? I've wondered about that..how much Wanda gives input (or if she just has a natural flair for the camera in the poses she strikes)...it makes the image. Wanda, hope your back is up to par again soon. And Bill, yesterday's eagle shots were nice..still waiting for them to head this far south (Missouri weather has been WAY too warm since Christmas..we hit 65 today in St. Louis!).

Guest...it goes to show how little you pay attention. Comments run pretty much consistent day to day no matter the photo. More than that the hits or views seem to run about the same no matter the picture. We're still doing 10 to 15 thousand views per day...no matter the picture or the subject.

We said we would do a Wanda picture about once a week. It's been a bit longer than that; so, we were overdue.

You know there are plenty of other galleries with pretty girls in very little to no clothing. Ok, this is going to sound like bragging...oh well. How many are bumping up on 10 million views? I'm not saying that the Wanda photos weren't the driving force between those views. I'm just saying it takes more than a pretty girl in a skimpy outfit to get there.

I guess maybe the range and quality of my work speaks on its own. So maybe I should shutup...lol.

Wanda, it's so nice to see you back. After so many shot's of your back snowshoeing I was starting to wonder how bad that airbag bruised up your face, nice to see you look as lovely as always, hope the back starts feeling better soon. Bill, the lighting is perfect, another very sensual shot to add to the collection.

Quite yummy! I love how sensual she always looks!

Perfect use of light for her skintone. The backlight makes the difference. My problem has always been dark background. Well done. Maybe someone should give Wanda a massage!
