EOSpix v 1.1 vs. ACR, RSP-Int, and ETC-V100

As usual, ACR and EOSpix profiles capture the largest dynamic range without clipping the deepest shadows. As far as I'm concerned the only problem with ACR is rendered colors have never been accurate, in fact, not even close (i.e. unacceptable for rendering human skin).

ACR's color issue is not a major problem when you shoot strictly scenery because the color temperature of daytime illumination is all over the map (depending on the time of day you choose to shoot the picture). Until the EOSpix profile was recently created the ONLY converter I considered good enough to capture the wide dynamic range present in my typical outdoor scenes was ACR.

Regarding human subjects, out of the four RSP profiles I've looked at the two best profiles from the standpoint color accuracy are the EOSpix and ETC-V100 (IMO there no doubt about this finding). From the standpoint of color accuracy it is very tough to choose between EOSpix v1.1 and ETC-V100 because the ETC-V100 rendering has "ever so slightly" higher saturation; this difference tends to "cloud" your judgment.
