On December 14th, 2005, I picked up my new 2006 Jeep Liberty from the dealership.
I was driving it home on E I96 in Grand Rapids when a young driver in the westbound lane lost control of her car, came across the median and crashed into me.

I suffered a broken ankle that has left me with a permanent limp.
The cause of the accident? Somebody in the car ahead of the kids threw something out the window at them.
The result was at least three people in the hospital, one of them for almost a month. It could have been a lot worse.
Anyway, this is my new Liberty. I had about 15 miles on it.
