Use of Photoshop's Shadow/Highlight tool isn't the answer to recovering shadow detail. Applying +15 to the shadows of all four pictures demonstrates too much shadow detail was lost in the initial rendering using the RSP-Int and ETC-100 profiles (i.e. the "game" is lost before you step out on the field). Note 1: using either the EOSpix or ACR renderings one can recover sufficient shadow detail to "save" the picture. Note 2: the EOSpix rendering beats all other renderings from the standpoint of highlight detail without compromising shadow detail; this is THE significant differentiator of the product.
