Photographing the Invisible Man by Quentin Bargate
Oxford, England
Flick (foregound), Jono, and Charles (far distance) try to photograph what I assume is the fleeting presence of the Invisible Man somewhere between them!
Hi Adrian, the funny thing is that using the E1 has made me comfortably and naturally into a turn the vertical camera the other way person, ie with my left hand on top and no sticking up elbow such as you see in this pic. I got in a muddle with my Kodak the other day wondering why my hand wouldn't reach the shutter from within the hand strap - I'd automatically turned the camera the E1 way up - which is, of course, so much more stable and natural, but that has never felt comfortable on any other camera.

Darnit, I've gone into the archives looking for this outing, and I can't seem to find this photo (of J, F and Q from the other side of the invisible man :-). I'll keep looking, hope i find it before the comp end! Charles
I have a pretty clear memory of visiting a post that Jono made of images from all three? of you after this/an outing (hmmmm... 18months ago?), and relishing the different perspectives each one of you brought to the same environment. thanks for this, and the smile.Cheers, adrian
Okay, you got your revenge ;-(
Do you know, i've been carting that little reflector (in the round blue bag) around for months and never used it. My homemade ones got used all the time.
I think Charles should enter his one of all of us in a row, leaning one way.
