Visitors must get an access pass to visit this section of the Patuxent
Research Refuge. This portion of the refuge was formerly part of
Fort Meade and used for training.

Because of the possible presence of unexploded ordnance in non-public areas,
visitors sign a waiver stating that USFWS is not liable if visitors venture
into non-public areas (prohibited access).
