Ready for the firing squad at a basalt boulder

West Bar, Washington view map

Here I am imitating a statue next to a (basalt?) boulder which is about 8 feet (1.7m) tall. That rock got here by being rolled in the current of humongous ice age floods. Flood waters flowed from behind the boulder toward the camera. Geo-tagging ia approximate.

This picture would not have been possible without the
help of Ralph Tripod, my personal photographic assistant.

Like a rock.

How true: Joe Tripod was the firing squad and my D100 was the weapon. Maybe I should have worn a blindfold.

I guess this look is rather imitating a trooper in front of the firing squad...
