This was taken from our back deck. We have a spotlight that shines up on the trees that comes on automatically after dark. This was an 8-second exposure from the tripod.

What is cool about this is that the darker tree in the background almost mimicks the foreground lighted tree, thereby it seems to cast a shadow. :) Very nice. Now... if I come up there with my telescopes, you have to take them lightbulbs out. No shining of lights up in the air. ;) - Christine
