After putting an overweight Access Control Supervisor and Gate Control Senior Agent in the tail section, the nose came off the ground. Actually a strong wind caused this scenario. This aircraft was chopped up at MIA later the same year by BMIS Corporation.
This aircraft was damaged beyond repair when the right main landing gear disintegrated due to fatigue when it landed at MIA on December 16, 1981. The accident report is located at:
