Hey Chris - love the comp here! - it's got those two diagonals covered beautifully. Her look is very piercing, perhaps all the more as we cannot make out here irises - i like to be moved by pics, and this one does it for me. thanx, adrian.

Chris, I love the way you make your E1 give you film-like results. You've captured, perfectly, that weary, protective look mothers with new babies have (even if this isn't the child's mother, she portrays that feeling). I have photos of me from 25 years ago with that same distant, guarded look. Flick.
