This is a composition of 108 copies of a shot of a antique column. The column is the left column of the main entrance of the Monastery of The Barefoot Nuns at Sanlúcar de Barrameda, some 450 years old roman-catholic temple. The shot was taken with my beloved 717, from bottom to ceiling. Then I cut the column (marble) out with Photoshop and made 107 copies + the original, applied some simple effects and the output is the sensation of photographing a big hole in the wooden floor of a room, like an only rarely visible other dimension. There may be stairs... I do not know. Find out yourselves.
(I found out that the sensation of being up and down increases at smaller format or larger distance from screen.)
