This was shot about 30 minutes after Sunrise in a beutiful little canyon in the Superstitions up above Boyce Thompson Arboretum. We had been waiting for the light to enter the Canyon and light the cotton woods that were just starting to change their colors. This shows teh canyon trees strongly backlit with the morning mist still in the air.
This image (as well as all the others taken that trip) was shoot along side a respected (and accomplished) professional Landscape photographer, George Stocking ( http://www.georgestocking.com ).
