sometimes I try to reduce the speed but sometime I prefer to use a fastest speed to be sure to have a good picture such as the Constellation.

If you use a shutter speed of 1/250 or slower the prop looks so much more realistic.
Great shot, I like your gallery.
Try what I have suggested , It will give the plane a feeling of speed, not looking like it's stopped in mid-air.
