Many of the structures of Heian Shrine, including the Daigoku-den (Outer Oratory), Oten-mon (Divine Gate), Soryu-ro, Byakko-ro, Platform, and Ryubi-dan, were built in 1895 in the style of the Chodo-in, the main administration building of the Heian Capital. Though only about two-thirds of the original in scale, they recapture the glory of olden times.
