How do you decide between these two....the one below was taken twelve minutes
after the one on top....Frigid weather here today. Set a new record low for the
date and had a mini-ice storm. I couldn't leave the house because the road on
the hill to my house was iced over! Lit the wood stove and enjoyed.

Sounds like you had a perfect day! And two lovely shots to show for it. I think I prefer the big sky and the colors in the first.

I wouldn't decide. They have two different moods so I'd use them both at different times. Both are lovely.

I prefer the first one Petesie. I am always amazed at the color changes that happen as it sets. Both are really good.
