Long Bridge, Chequamegon Bay shoreline, Ashland, 7 Dec 2005
Barring both on the breast and on the back seems finer than that expected for an adult female. The white bib is moderately extensive. The head gives a mostly white appearance. The tail had only 2 incomplete dark bands. The upper back is mostly white. Although the secondary covert mottling seems minimal, the bird appears too dark to be an adult male. See other views of the same bird.
