To the east (Harivamsa) is the "Rain of Indra", or beneficial rain, indicated by parallel lines which fall on a stylised forest inhabited with animals and through which pass the child Krishna with his brother Balarama. The god, mounted on a three headed elephant, dominates the clouds - represented by many undulating lines. On the axis stands the naga, the symbol of water.
동쪽 벽 위에서부터 인드라가 짐승들이 사는 숲 속에 우주의 비를 뿌리고 있는 모습이 있다. 인드라는 머리가 세개인 코끼리가 끄는 마차를 타고 있으며, 바람과 구름에 둘러싸여 있다.(파도 같은 선으로 표현) 비속에서 큰 뱀이 승천하고 있다. 아기로 변신한 크리슈나가 쟁기를 잡고 있는 그의 형제 발라라마가 지나가고 있다.
서쪽 벽에는 삼촌인 깜사왕을 죽인 크리슈나에 대한 이야기가 새겨져 있는데, 삼촌이 크리슈나가 어렸을 때 죽이려 했기 때문이다. 또 크리슈나가 깜사의 머리를 잡고 있다.
