December 6: Fresh Trees

Rancho Bernardo, CA

Tree cutting SoCal style in the Vons parking lot. No muss, no fuss. They deliver!

For you eagle-eyed observers, this is a montage of four different shots.

hahaha. I think the tree is winning this fight.

LOL at Gary. A big turkey, indeed!
snootydog09-Dec-2005 05:24
I guess my eagle eyes need some sharpening because I wouldn't have noticed the composite. Well done

I like the guy looking out from under his too large hat :>)
shatterbug07-Dec-2005 06:33
Hehe! Nice montage! Do me a favor and order a tree for me, I want to see if they get it here in three days. ;-)
Pepe Zyman07-Dec-2005 05:49
Let me try to understand,
They sell the trees at Vons, you place the order and have to wait 3 days for them to cut the trees out of the asphalt?
Only in California :^)
Coleen Perilloux Landry07-Dec-2005 05:42
Fun shot. Looks like they're trying to capture a person or a large fish standing up.
Mindy McNaugher07-Dec-2005 05:12
Fun shot, oh you PS guru!!!
Cindy Flood07-Dec-2005 03:21
Good job with the Photoshop.

Nice holiday scene!
Gayle P. Clement07-Dec-2005 02:15
Only one tree? Fun Christmas scene.
Breland07-Dec-2005 01:56
Equals a very nice Christmas scene Robin.

I need new glasses. I swear it looked like a giant raw turkey wrapped in that netting. And four images? Well, you fooled me. I don't see but one.
Bob Foisel06-Dec-2005 22:19
I think he should wear a parka and pretend it's winter. Gee I thought cutting my own tree was the freshest way to go. I see the left, center and right side, where is the fourth shot sliced in. Good blending job, Robin.

Nice work
Zak06-Dec-2005 21:27
you should have your tree within 3 days! :-)
Di06-Dec-2005 20:53
I can actually see two stitch lines...but what is most concerning is the lack of snow! 15 degrees right now--wanna borrow some of ours?
royalld06-Dec-2005 18:53
Is that your tree he is preparing?
I can see two shots, but I'm not eagle-eyed enough to see where you stitched the other two.
scott clarke06-Dec-2005 16:45
Never picked up a tree from a guy wearing a t shirt before. Must be nice.
Bryan Murahashi06-Dec-2005 15:44
Not a bad pano. I can see one slight stitch line.
I was at the top of the Santa Cruz Mts this last weekend and saw lots of
vehicles driving home with fresh cut trees on their roofs.
