I often wonder whether, getting surprise, or telling others about the odd, things observed is the right way of sharing experience. Well, to some it is . But my feeling is to ask locals, why this happening, understand , and then observe from that angle and announce is better way of sharing the experince.
We indians , consider the cow, as holy, but would not serve them, as we earn nothing. So we are just indifferent. We can not kill, or eat them, as they are akin to human beings in our thinking and like poor in the country, they also are neglected .....slowly we are all becoming westernised , loosing our own beliefs and learning new beliefs from the rest, it will take time , and then cows will vanish from streets , towns, in India . And that will be a day of great sorrow for all the right believing humans. Loss of animals in any form is a great sorrow.
