Beautifully sharp portrait Karen and I love the story you relate about Vic's Mom.

Super portrait, great skin tones. I like your story too, even though she sounds totally exasperating :-))
I like the snow picture.

Excellent portrait and funny story, except probably not so for your friend.

What a great story, LOL! And Vic must be a very patient man. The picture of him is great.

Guest 25-Nov-2005 14:58
Karen, you are such a great storyteller and the photos punctuate the stories perfectly. May you have many more memorable Thanksgivings with good friends.

excellent portrait, great skin tones. I hate that drive on 77 through Charleston, everytime i feel like i am being poisoned by all the industry, the coal mones, and the chemical factories...YUK!

Great portrait and series of photos.
I have someone like Vic's Mom close to me,
so I can easily relate to your enjoyable story.

Karen this has been another of your great stories that are always filled with humour. It's great that you caught up with Vic & his mother whom I'm sure you could write a book about her antics.
Always a cheerful pleasure to visit your dailies & this b+w by the way is especially good.

Excellent portrait and very interesting story.........I can just see you "losing it" and Mother not understanding what you were laughing at.........thanks for sharing.

I remember the other portraits of your friend you took before his departure, so I'm happy to see him again and I'm happy to know you went to visit him.
As always I like the little story, you can tell us with your clever and gently humorous style, as a perfect complement to the images.
I see that also there it snowed....I think black and white enhance this portrait, that looks a little melancholy, as you rightly stressed out.
