Alex, first cousin of the new father, holds her newborn cousin,
Scarlett Jhane, barely 12 hours old, in the hospital room, in
an endearing way. For you techno-nerds, like myself, this photo
is my first submission using the Canon 20D's custom function #3
in conjunction with Canon's 580ex flash unit. With the curtains
drawn, There were no lights on in this hospital room. With the
ceiling approximately 10 feet high, I took the photo with the
flash unit directed vertically 90° with the diffuser employed.
