Tajinder, I really liike the lighting/exposure and beautiful tonal contrast of this one. I agree with the other comments...but still a nice shot and a very good idea. MFC

This is a very good idea that I may have to try someday. Nice use of black and white. I agree with the comments of Katherine and Gaurav re: the sharpness. If you don't have a computer with Elements to resharp it, maybe a re-shoot with tripod is possible? That's another plus for the simplicity of your idea - it can be redone fairly easily.

Thanks for the comments...Gaurav and Katherine, thanks for the suggesstion of sharpening the rook. However, I am without my computer with Elements. I used Picasa to make this picture B&W from another PC. I hope I get to it soon..Tajinder

Very nice composition - I like the DOF and the grainy black&white! I agree with Gaurav though that the foreground piece should be a little sharper.

ooooh - very nice Tajinder - I really like your composition and the b&w grainy feel. The only thing i would change is to see the piece in the forefront a little sharper ~ gaurav
