The sculptor Peter Adams quotes the American national anthem in his catalogue statement and goes on: "Ironic
isn't it, that the USA's self-congratulatory anthem confirms the problem. It is the USA's presence (spanner) in
the lives of people in trouble spots around the world that ensures that the bombs and unrest will continue."
Not very clear in the picture are the words MADE IN ENGLAND on the spanner. $8500.
