One of the things I'm really starting to like about living that bit further out of the city are the
number of walks around us. This one takes us right up to the back of the village, where there's a
big open space I can let Gemma run around in. Added to that we get a cracking view.

I had to leave early this afternoon to get down to Edinburgh so I could sit an exam the next day.
Before going though I wanted to make sure she had a good run out so I could relax on the train and
not feel guilty that I didn't have time for her. No sooner had we got to the top of the walk, but
the ominous black clouds closed in. Before I knew it, the hail was starting to come down heavily.
But it did create a lovely lighting effect!
