We were taking a little walk around a small lake and this egret was fishing in the shallow water. I was just getting into a nice position to photograph it when another couple came walking along and scared it away. This was the lift-off.

The cable man came to put in my high-speed modem today and there are wiring problems outside that have to be fixed, so I am on dial-up again. I hope I can get on tomorrow and look at everyone's pictures. They have promised to come back in the morning and fix it.
