Near Tenaya Lake

Overcast, ugly weather, and Tenaya Lake is almost invisible I fear. ;-) Anyway, I liked the surrounding hills and forests so much I tried this one in B&W

Very interesting tones in this...and how they mold the mountains. I like this shot very much.

Yes, it's the small white blob! Contrasts were so bad on that day, you actually don't see much of the lake in colour either, it's a greyish blob in a greyish landscape. Maybe I should call it "Can You Find Tenaya Lake?" ;-)

Antje, I've been to this lake a few times but I don't see the lake in your image. Is it the small while area in the center? Otherwise, very interesting use of a digital SLR. -Jim
