Dick Kelty ( Yes , founder of Kelty backpacks) talking to hikers of the Pacific Crest Trail at KOA in Weldon May 77. Dick and Nena Sold the Kelty Pack Company in 1982. After that , the pack's quality went down hill ( In my humble opinion) Dick Passed away in 2004 at age 84. Great loss to the long distance hiker comunity

Thanks You very much descendant. Correction is done.. We all lost a great man of the outdoors who brought the joy of " Backpacking " to Amercia......
