Kárász Street

I am back from my vacation in Hungary where I was
visiting my best friend Agnes Csernova and this
is the first of many photos that I will upload
in the next days...

This is a photo taken in the Street Kárász of the
beautiful city of Szeged in the south of Hungary,
where I was so happy. Thank you girl!! I love ya :)

UPDATE:... For those who wondered... this is not a shot done
in sepia, it's a colour photo, but I shot it straight against the sun
and the colours "faded" naturally against the intensity of the light and
all that was left was the emotion...

Bom Dia, Ana,
What a great catch!
I have been in your country at the end of october; in the west of the Algarve to be precise. I wonder if you appreciate my view on this part of Portugal:http://www.pbase.com/roboele/algarve_in_a_different_way
Greetings, Rob

Voices and bodies breaking through the daywaking smoke.Like billiards cajolling among smothering dimness.Haphazardly skittering across the cobble tableau, along a murky concrete edge and into corner mouse pockets. While the thick air above presses their clatter into an oil of muffled murmuring.I am offside, biding my cue.Shooting sigh glances into the melee.Scouting for your next play.Of when you may roll lightly into my court.

- Welcome back Ana :) Missed you so -

I was wondering where you were! beautiful shadow and light usage... the cobblestones and tilt give it movement.. and secrecy in shadow.. Well done and I hope you and Agnes had a fantastic time..

Oh, that's why I don't see you posting photos in the past days! :) :) Welcome back Ana. This image is like a mystery photo.. :) The combination of composition and light that fades are just superb.

tiled street, shadows of a running child...Wonderful!

There is nothing in this world I love more than the mystery of light and shadow. A child, a push chair (Buggy), and the emotion of it all. The sepia, warms it up and makes it less dangerous. A rush to the light or in to the shadows? It has a touch of dR about it. You know I love it...K

Hello Ana, Now this is great ! the long shadows , the tile floor,The toddler with feet off the ground, the simple two colours . All this for me makes a brilliant picture.
You could try cropping the right hand 1/4 and left hand 1/4 to get a verticle shot , maybe lose some black area. But only my views .Still a brilliant picture well done wish it was mine .

Wonderful use of light and shadow! The awkward angle works nicely on this. Great photo Ana! Welcome back!!
