M42 the Great Orion Nebula, M42 (the small apostrophe shaped nebula near M42) and NGC 1977 also know as the Running Man Nebula in the constellation Orion. Taken with a Meade DSI color camera with a Baader UC/IR filter through a Borg 45mmED using a Meade 0.5x reducer. 152 x 60 second shots captured, calibrated and processed in a trial version of MaxDSLR. Drizzled after calibration then color corrected and edited in photoshop.
