2 November

I've said in the past that I don't work in a picturesque part of Sheffield.
This is a view of The Crown Inn on the main Sheffield to Chesterfield road, viewed through the graffiti covered railway bridge,
the track for which runs so close to my office that the building sometimes shakes!

I like the weeds growing up there, but like the crown inn more.

How far to Chesterfield? I had ancestors from there.
Looks like a dark gray day for you there Sheena. But I'd like to be stoppin by this Inn!

The important bit is the offering of "Fine Real Ales" - looks inviting to me!

Its a shame that the old script has been camoflaged over. Still, it's there set to return to its glory!

Nice touch of reality. Perhaps not of great beauty, but certainly of interest.
