Etched Glass & Polished Chrome

Ventura, Ca

I don't know if you can see this, but even the edge of the
side window is slightly curved & has small etchings on it ~
I may just have to do a real close-up on it 'cuz it's really
amazing. Chrome polished, interior completely clean... Oh My!

This 1926 Lincoln was so cherry, it looked like it had just
rolled off the assembly line. I think David (Caught in the
back of my shot)was just as impressed as I was with this one!

What a great old vintage she is. I haven't been to one of these events in years, and used to go all the time. There's several groups who meet one morning every weekend in local shopping mall parking lots to share some wonderful hot rods, which I used to go to. I need to make a special effort to track one down soon. We're lucky here to have such mild winters they don't rust like other places. But seems like most vanished within a year or two once emission control standards went into effect. Cost me a couple of beauties too, one of my favorites was a jet black '78 El Camino that lopped enough to leave tingles in your hiney when you got out. Hated to jack it up & start putting it back to factory after doing so much work, but the man who got it sure was a happy camper. I guess they've kept including older, and older cars untill not many left on the road. Real pity, but one's like this will always get by. I doubt they'll be a single 2006 Lincoln around tho', wouldn't it be nice to take a peek how people get around then. Well, assuming they're still alowed to! Hope you get more shots of some nice oldies like this one. Good work, thanks for sharing. :)
