The tall bearded iris are beginning
to bloom, this one is called
"Blue Staccato"

I noticed an old tree stump left from
a beautiful acacia we had to fell
was being overtaken by fungi



and here's something especially Australian.
The green brushes cover a rather large shrub
in which a large family of wrens are nesting.
