I405 (along with I-5) forms a small loop around downtown Portland. US 26 becomes freeway as it heads west from downtown portland. The ramp from I 405 north to US 26 curves above me (and I-405). The ramps from downtown portland and I-405 south join this ramp just out of site of this picture and then go into a tunnel thru the West Hills shown in the distance
