A quite simple proces done manually, bleaching the cotton spuned strings in a long tub of water mixed with chemicals. The only protection they had was those plastic robes tied around their middle. Lucky they could work in open air as I believe that the damps of these chemicals are not so healthy for the lungs although it wasn't so smelly here but very humid.
They must have feel their work suddenly more important, knowing I had to climb up the chemical barrels to get this view but they had to go one with their work ....
