Here I am playing with my 2 year old Springer, Abby in the waves. This is the beach right near Mo's from the previous image, so we are actually on Siletz Bay, not directly facing the ocean. In spite of that, you would get 3-4 foot waves for about 5-10 minutes, then a wave or two that was around 10 foot! Needless to say, we got caught occasionally. My short rubber boots did not do much good when I got caught up to my waist! But it was fun anyway, and Abby loved it. I kept her on a long leash as there were seals just beyond the breakers that according to a number of locals we had talked to did go after dogs if they swam out too far!
