Snowballs in Spring

Viburnum opulus Sterile

We call this The Guelder Rose and
our Grandparents loved to grow it in
the garden. Here's a snowball just opening
and its a minty green...



and a yellow rosebud covered in raindrops

The green one really is different and lights up a bouquet. Both are lovely shots.

Green flowers aren't that common are they? Very interesting... it's the same colour as my toothpaste! ;-)

It was an old favourite in my grandmother's garden too. Looks lovely with it's hint of green.
