Sitio is a small village built on the high clifs of Nazaré.
This place has a legend that says that the Virgin appeared
to a hunter and saved him from falling into the sea.This
church holds a very ancient image of the Virgin said to be
hidden for many centuries in the cliffs.

Nice shot of a nice place.It´s a long time I do not go to Nazaré.Seldom my way goes that direction. But still remember the sight, the place.I´m afraid to find it so changed, Algarve´s style. Hope not. Regards jorge
